Google Chrome extensions may have won Chrome a spot as my default web browser. If you are like me, I loved the speed of Chrome but refused to make Google Chrome my defaults browser because l loved most of the plugins that Firefox offered. This appears to have been the case for all web surfers trying to really make the decision between speed and functionality. It just seemed like Chrome was too simple for many advanced users.
Well in the newest update to the Chrome browser, Google has finally acknowledged this missing link that lots of users were hungry for. Now you’ll find add-ons or extensions, as Google loves to call them for many anything. They have social site extensions, browser functionality extensions and needless to say extensions to all your favorite Google based services. From what I have experienced adding many extensions Firefox Focus For mac does little if anything to decrease the browser, unlike Firefox.
A lot of the extensions will add a small icon to the upper right area of the Chrome browser to make them very quick and simple to access. This could turn into a problem if you add a big pile, but I’ve added about 10 and still have plenty of room left on the omnibar to the left of the icons. Most every one of the extensions for Chrome are working as promised, but there are a couple that may still have an insect or two in them.
No matter what you are seeking to extend Chromes functionality, you will make sure you find an extension to do just that. Now, understand that there are still many extensions be created and old Firefox plugins being ported for Chrome, so there will be additional in the future very soon. Here is a list of some of the coolest Google Chrome Extensions that are now available.
